Learning for All
The Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site is a powerful learning resource, suitable for exploring and developing a whole range of subjects and skills with all age groups and abilities. It is the only World Heritage Site in the East Midlands.
The Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site (DVMWHS) is a partnership between many land and buildings owners, organisations and visitor attractions all with a different offer for learning – formal, informal, families, all ages, abilities and curriculum areas can be catered for.
Periodically there is opportunity to take part in projects linked to the World Heritage Site. In the past these have covered a broad range of focus including higher education textiles and design courses to early year’s music and drama opportunities.
