Children’s Activities – Patrimonito
Patrimonito is the official logo for “World Heritage in Young Hands” (World Heritage Centre and UNESCO). Patrimonito means “small heritage” (Spanish) and is a character symbolizing a young person who protects heritage, created by the students participating in the First World Heritage Youth Forum in Bergen, Norway in 1995. The Spanish word now refers to all young heritage helpers involved in the preservation and promotion of World Heritage, especially participants in the meetings of the World Heritage Youth Forum. For more information, see the UNESCO website at http://whc.unesco.org/en/patrimonito.
